It takes a day or two for them to feel fully comfortable and he material seems a feels thin, especially the tongue but its surprisingly strong and "rugged" and its as soft as butter (or at least when I bought them). All in all a great shoe, just don't tighten the laces too tight round the toes (sounds silly but its very uncomfortable). : >
